People typically don't drink soup from a glass because soup is a hot liquid and glass is a poor conductor of heat, meaning it would not keep the soup warm for very long. Additionally, the lack of a handle on a glass makes it difficult to hold and drink hot soup without burning oneself. Furthermore, the shape and size of a typical glass are not well-suited for containing and consuming soup, as it is more common to use a bowl or mug with a wider opening and a handle for easier consumption. **

You should drink pure rum from a tulip-shaped glass or a snifter. These types of glasses are designed to concentrate the aromas of the rum, allowing you to fully appreciate its complex flavors and aromas. The tulip shape helps to trap the aromas inside the glass, while the wide bowl allows you to swirl the rum and release its aromas. This type of glass also allows you to hold the glass without warming the rum with your hands. **
