Deciding whether to take action retroactively or in advance depends on the specific situation and desired outcome. Acting retroactively involves addressing issues after they have occurred, which can be useful for correcting mistakes or resolving problems that have already arisen. Ultimately, the best approach will depend on the circumstances and the goals you are trying to achieve. **
